| My Advice |
- From Dubai airport to downtown, the taxi fare is 16D (3.4EUR) for pick-up,
followed by 1.17D per kilometer; meanwhile, it is 3D for pick-up (3.5D
from 10.00pm to 6.00am) in the city. (see also Dubai Transport Corporation)
- It would be better to take a taxi in order to avoid midday sun even if
you move at a short distance. Or I suggest using a half day Dubai city
bus tour.
- The Desert Safari tour cost you quite different price depends on the travel agents in spite of same itinerary. The tour desk of first-class hotels are very convenient; however, if you apply this tour at travel agents in the city, you will pay only 160D (34EUR).
